Manchester Lockmaster
While out on a peaceful Sunday morning in late October, I came upon the Lockmaster for the Manchester Canal. In England's industrial age, this narrow waterway's lock system lifted boats and barges from the sea level elevation of the inlet to the southwest to higher elevations that extended into the city's center.
